Welcome!
This is our 50th year in the Catskill Mountains located 100 miles up the “Quickway” (Route 17 soon to be I-86). The area is most famous for the famous resorts (as seen in “Dirty Dancing” for those too young to remember), and for the Woodstock Festival which was actually held in Bethel, Sullivan County, NY. (Bethel Woods is on the site of the legendary concert and is bringing live shows back to the area.)
We have a yearly Car Show at Rock Hill Fire Department’s “Frog Pad” the first sunday after Memorial Day. Last years show was great! There are photos on the site (make sure to drag your mouse across the albums or just click on them so you see all of the photos). We had a great time and everyone pulled together to find the bright side.
This year the show is Sunday, June 2nd (Rain or Shine). Hope to see you there.
All members can contact me about getting an email account, and if you have any pictures you would like to publish here then send them as well to webmaster@catskillregionaaca.org Thanks!!!
